Hotel needs a little tlc. Whole place is looking a little tired and tatty. Uncomfortable bed and the worst pillows ever! Bathroom clean but could do woth updating. Sink tap a bit hit and miss.
Staff friendly and helpful
Unfortunately the doors to the corridor and bedrooms are not soft close so there was lots of noise from people returning late at night. I was very impressed by the staff, they were very helpful but the noise from doors has put me off ever staying again at this hotel.
Cleanliness was good,all round. Sadly decor needs refreshing and updating, some urgent repairs required to floor tiles and very stained carpets. Lighting could do with a refresh. Would l stay again? Absolutely, but more attention to the above

2 different groups in the night and early morning were exceptionally noisy - shouting and screaming for over an hour. the lady on reception was short with her comments. The state of the rooms and building needs updating and making look clean.
I'd checked in online for a supposedly quicker check in at the hotel. It didn't seem any quicker than a standard checking in process. The guy behind the desk seemed pretty uninterested and wasn't particularly helpful. The room was tired and in need of updating. And one of the beds creaked continually, making for a disrupted night. Bathroom was passable. Only two towels for two guests (thought there might be hand towels too). Shower gel not filled (maybe this is an eco policy). Fortunately, it was just a base for the night and nothing more. There was nothing special about it at all.
Was a comfortable place to stay, clean bed and the bed was just right; not too soft or too hard.
Having the shower was a nice aspect especially during the heat experienced during the stay.
