This hotel is a real gem. Situated in a central location near metro, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. We received a bottle of sparkling wine and a room upgrade upon arrival. Breakfast is sufficient in a nice setting. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel lounge was a fantastic amenity that was well used by guests. There was a sociable and friendly environment. Complimentary tea, coffees, water, pastries, biscuits, fruit and port were available throughout the day and night. There was also a bar for those guests who wanted something different. The staff were very friendly and helpful! The historic charm of the hotel and its locality were perfect. Altogether, a great place to stay.

Lovely historic hotel in great area. Very easy access to metro, lots of shopping, gorgeous boulevard to stroll. Very quiet. Staff was friendly, courteous and professional. Room was gorgeous, high ceilings large windows, very comfortable bed. A/C worked great. Bathroom was luxurious. Breakfast was abundant, loved the espresso machine.

Really lovely hotel that seems to have been newly renovated. Little touches really made a difference like USB sockets on both sides of the bed and a multi-socket on the desk that had USB, C and even a UK plug adapter. Also was lovely to have a bath robe and full sized Molton brown products

We enjoyed the free Porto wine and afternoon high tea with the delicious “pastel de mata.” The breakfast had a variety of fruit, pastries and hot items besides juices annd espresso and cappuccino.
