Amazing location, wonderful staff who made us feel at home. Room size was a bit small, but didn't impact our experience whatsoever. We especially loved our interactions with the restaurant staff, specifically Vladimir who was very knowledgeable, humorous and overall a great human being.

Overall, disappointing for a 4* hotel. Cabaret themed hotel in excellent location just off Avenida da Liberdade and a 3 minute walk to the Metro. Facilities wise, no gym, no spa and no room service. Deluxe double room recently refurbished to a high standard, nice deccor and very clean. However, lack of basic furniture. No desk, no chair and no wardrobe ( the clothes rails suspended from the ceiling are an eyesore). And worst of all, no fridge! The small safe was in a very awkward location. In a corner behind the curtains and just 8 inches above the floor. For anyone with a bad back (like myself) its almost inaccessible. The hot food selection at breakfast was only lukewarm and went cold within a few minutes. Nothing worse than a cold fried egg! Due to the general lack of facilities I would not rate hotel Maxime any higher than 7/10.

Uncomfortable and Cramped

The rooms are tiny, with only a narrow shelf for belongings and no closet. The hanging bar for clothes is poorly designed and if you hang clothes they reach to the floor which is the only spot to open your luggage so this makes it feel even more cramped. No microwave, no mini-frig, no charging outlets. We will not be staying here again.

Long weekend in Lisbon

Loved our stay at Maxime Hotel, it was for 4 nights, staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was very good with a Metro starion just 2 minute walk, but can walk to city centre within 10-15 mins depending where you want to go. Would definitely stay again and would recommend anyone visiting Lisbon.

Solid hotel one block off libertade blvd. down a hill from trendy Bairro and Principe neighborhood. The hotel is central and walking distance to many attractions, shopping and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and small. No sitting areas in the lobby. Modest breakfast. Very accommodating with early check-in. Friendly and pleasant staff.
