Very nice property in a beautiful village

I highly recommend this property!! Very clean and well maintained located in the peaceful village of Scalford. We were surprised by the size of the house......it's huge and has all the amenities you need for a very comfortable stay. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and made it all the more memorable. The neighbours are very friendly and added to the ambiance of the idyllic village setting. The village is beautiful and well worth a walk around. The pub is a 5 minute stroll and serves good food from Friday-Sunday. Melton Mowbray is a short drive away and Grantham is only about 20 minutes in the opposite direction. There are plenty of points of interest close by. We went to Belvoir Castle, Sir Isaac Newton's house, took a canal boat trip and went to Lincoln to see the cathedral and the castle. We all wished we could have stayed longer!!

A family Christmas

We used this property for one part of the family as we had outgrown my daughters house nearby. It was an excellent base and they were thrilled by the lovely Christmas hamper and decorations. I’m sure we would like to use it again

Amazing place to stay

We were so pleased with the bungalow. It is absolutely stunning with everything you need. Jon was amazing at keeping in touch. Will definitely be back.
