Visiting Silverstone for the Lap of Lights and chose to stay here as we had used the hotel in the past. Big old building in the centre of Stoney Stratford. Our room was a little tired and had thin walls. Don't for get your ear plugs! The Bar was comfortable and atmospheric with friendly efficient staff and the food delicious and well prepared. Good selection at breakfast and again very friendly staff. Good sized carpark but appears to be used by all and sundry. Spaces limited.

It was okay for the price. Bedsheets were clean which was the main thing. However, the carpet and chair were stained and should be replaced in my opinion. There were holes in the bathroom ceiling, the bath was rusty and the floor was all lumpy like there had been a leak and they hadn’t repaired it properly. Probably wouldn’t choose to stay here again, it needs some maintenance and decorating doing.

We arrived on the No. 6 bus from Central Milton Keynes. But I noticed an extenive back car park. Really did not take the use of the restaurant du to travel leg from Turkey. Really, If we had the opportunity to taste the delicacies that it provides. I hope next time.

Good clean hotel ideally located in the centre of Stony Stratford. All staff were friendly and the breakfast was delicious. I was only there for one night and didn’t have dinner there but everything was good. Check in and out was simple.
