Je trouve vraiment déplorable que votre personnel ne soit pas au fait des contraintes de votre client. Question de santé, quand on demande un mocktail sans alcool, c’est 0% alcool et non pas 0,5%. J’espère que cet épisode n’aura pas d’impact sur la condition médicale de mon conjoint. Aussi, mentionnez donc à vos employés de soutien que la machine à glace est située au 5e étage…on pose des questions qui demeurent sans réponses, mauvais service tout simplement. Fini pour nous le BIRKS…

A true gem hidden away in downtown Montreal. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to find the information for you. Check in was efficient and professional. The room was welcoming and spotless. Loved the Nespresso machine and 2 free water bottles. A gem boutique hotel. We also had dinner and breakfast at their Brasserie Henri. Vibe was very European and staff super professional.

Elegant hotel, but service feels amateur Hotel Birks Montreal is a beautiful property with elegant rooms, quality linens, and excellent housekeeping. However, the service felt distinctly amateur for a hotel positioned as five-star. Check-in was slow and disorganized, staff seemed unsure and indifferent, and luggage handling was careless. The room itself was pleasant but missing basic touches like a minibar or proper coffee setup. The property offers good value and strong design, but travelers accustomed to refined, five-star hospitality will find the experience underdeveloped. Beautiful setting — but the service lacks the polish and professionalism the brand aspires to.

For a five star hotel, I was expecting a level that compares to Fairmont or Pullman Paris amenities. Door men and bellboys are exceptional. Front desk not so much, the only thing that look good are the lobby, restaurant, and the Maison Birks shop.
