When exiting the airport all resort employees (even non Tokatoka) were helpful in directing me to the correct area to meet Tokatoka shuttle drivers. Check in was easy and fairly fast. The bell man took my heavy suitcases to my 2nd story room. Room was spacious and clean. AC worked well. TV channel selection was a little limited but adequate. I had dinner 2 times at the resort. The first dinner, a chicken dish was tough to the point of being almost inedible. The next evening I had soup and it was very nice. The coffee shop is GREAT!! Had a Latte both mornings. Over all I would stay at Tokatoka again. It was everything I needed and very convienent.

The taxi driver over charge me for $45 from Tokatoka to Namaka. The driver didn’t know that I was born and raised in Fiji and worked also at the Regent of Fiji. His Boss called me a racist when I complaint about the taxi fare. Racist is when you charge the tourist a different price that the local and didn’t use the meter for the real taxi fare. I remember those days was only $5 . It’s a day light robbery for tourist !!

Ideal if having an early flight in the morning but standard room very basic. Restaurant service extremely slow but coffee was good. Noisy as on main road. Didnt use pool as on a short visit. Shower has no door so easily flooded bathroom. Pillows too hard and uncomfortable. Helpful staff though and very friendly on checking in, taking luggage to room, drop off to airport and welcoming and farewelli g us.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We were unable to control the AC setting in our room. Free Wi-Fi was available but it was so weak that it was unusable. The location of the hotel was not walkable to much of anything except an adjacent resort, a hospital and the airport.
