There is one very important thing to understand about this hotel. I picked it for the pool and on weekends they have larger parties at the pool and the adjacent bar for which they sell tickets and it is in great demand. Like people line up to go. So the pool is a very loud and crowded party on weekends. Second, getting all those people to the roof for the party greatly stretches the aging elevators. I would say during my two day stay, I spent over an hour waiting for elevators. There is no stair option up. The rooms are okay, the bar is okay, but I would never stay on a weekend again..

A Room Fit for a Vampire

The lobby is on a lower floor and very dark. It's like venturing into a crypt staffed by the undead. The room was impractical--no place even to lay down a suitcase. Closet and cabinet doors hung loose, the bathroom floor was dirty, the bed felt like a military bunk and its springs creaked mightily. Given the pretensions of the place, it looked rundown and was disappointing.
