Have stayed here a few times ideal for early morning flights. The hotel clean with good bar & restaurant facilities . However on this occasion we were woken at 3.30am by a very noisy delivery person who was unloading a delivery below her window.This went on for 45mins throwing empty trays to the ground . I mentioned this to reception on leaving all I got was a sorry … as we where doing a long haul flight we needed a good nights sleep .

We stayed over the night before flying out of Newcastle airport for a Christmas break. The hotel was spotless and staff as always very pleasant. We ate dinner here and the menu choice is good and not too expensive for where it is. We always choose to stay here the night before flying because we like to use Jet2’s twilight check-in service.

Only one towel in the bathroom on arrival. On the morning of departure I took a shower and half way through the hot water stopped flowing. I had to rinse off in extremely cold water. My husband was unable to have a shower. Hot water was also unavailable in the handbasin. The body lotion dispenser in the bathroom was empty. Absolutely unacceptable for a supposedly 4 star hotel.

Good location, to say it’s next to the airport noise levels weee acceptable. The hotel has a lovely environment and allows access into newcastle itself via the Metro system which is 5/10 mins walk away and located just inside the station. A day ticket is the best option for return journeys. The underground car park here is tight to get round if you value your alloys - plenty of slow ev chargers here ( EV project pro) - rapid chargers at ground level had illegible Q codes. Beds were really comfortable and the the rooms had plenty of space and good facilities. Would definitely stay again

I booked for 2 nights . My Flight got delayed then cancelled which was a stressful situation in getting rebooked and back home Got to the hotel the next day at 11am . At check in I was told my room was given to someone else & I have been put as no show . Was told I have to wait till 3pm to get a room I spoke to expedia to intervene but they wount budge This is unacceptable after paying in advance Also got stuck in the lift for 20mins Pressed the emergency button. No one came to help I had to ring emergency services , Fire , The Lady on the phone was kind to keep me on the phone until help came. Also there are no visible signs to the hotel at the round about so went straight into the airport barrier and was made to pay £10 to exit and turn round to the exit of the airport hotel This was an overall awful experience for me

The room was great, but the breakfast…at 9am.we had to ask for more eggs, for hot water cylinder to be refilled, we had to tip up the orange juice bottle because it was nearly empty and the breakfast plates were red hot but there was no serviettes. It sounds a bit petty but for £17.95 it matters.
