I booked an exterior/courtyard facing room. The curtains and carpet were old and worn, the room was poorly lit, paint was pealing off the wall, the vents consistently made a clanging noise and there was evidence of a leak on the ceiling. Thankfully, we were able to change to another room, which was brighter and less noisy (on the 3rd floor) but more of the same in terms of the carpets/curtains. The colored huts in the courtyard were cute but were not available to be used by hotel guests, and were being used as storage sheds for the hotel. For a boutique hotel the rooms felt very much like a budget motel.

Saturday night stay for OLG.

Good location. Was aware of the $35 parking fee. Not of the $18 facility fee. Room was lacking towel bars, microwave, had a burnt bulb in bathroom. Dirty wall beside toilet. Thought it would be nicer. It was Ok. 3pm check in would of been more convenient

Solid bed linens at Old Stone Inn Niagara

Hotel staff were horrible. Phone didn’t work in the room so used my cell to tell them about filthy soiled linens on both beds. To make it worse housekeeping when called said sheets like that would never be used. Accusatory towards me and her second day on the job!!!! Contacting Niagara Health Monday

Well we had been very pleased until we were denied entry to the restaurant for breakfast. Apparently we needed to reserve a spot????which we thought was ridiculous because we didn’t know if we’d be having breakfast. The location is great and the king bed room was nice however, the check-in process was VERY painful. Everything has to be on your phone and taking photos of yourself and your ID is worrying. The security deposit was high. The check-in process also took about 10 minutes. Other people checking in were also very annoyed

It’s a fancy motel, not a boutique

One of the worst check in experiences ever. Handed an iPad and asked to put all my information into their system on my own. It was clunky, time consuming, and irritating. Overall, hotel looks worn out. Smells of mold and there was a crack in my bathroom sink. Wasn’t impressed. This isn’t a “boutique” hotel, this is a spruced up “motel”. Won’t be back.

Lots of hidden fees not posted. Looks nice in pictures but the ‘courtyard view’ is the back of buildings and the carpet smelled of dog pee.
