Beautiful stay.

We stayed for two nights. We loved the history of the place and the grandeur of the decorations and architecture. Staff was there when needed, but not overbearing like many places. Check in and check out was painless. Room was very comfortable and relaxing.

This is a lovely boutique type hotel. There is no night staff but it wasn’t a problem for us. We would recommend the ability to turn the fan on the thermostat ( feature Locked out) and at least 1 person accessible for contact between 11- 9 am. Otherwise, beds and room is exceptional.

We always enjoy staying here it's a quaint little gem. Always clean, close to decent restaraunt options and a hop, skip from wineries. It's our go-to in the area. Staff are always friendly (gave a 4 because there isn't always someone there but it's a small place so understandable - they make it easy to check in after hours though). Highly recommend!

The loft suite is stunning, having a kitchen was important to us, I love to cook! The kitchen was ok, a few items to cook successfully are missing, my first day, I went and spent an additional couple hundred on items missing ( think, scissors, a strainer, towels for the kitchen, cloths, a few spices ( even salt and pepper would have been beneficial). Pans for the oven, thankfully I can cook but a fire extinguisher in the suite would protect the inn. Front desk is busy! The woman who checked us in was Amazing and such a help! Offering a welcome discount or gift card to onsite business would have been amazing and would promote onsite spending. The restaurant ( Johnny Rocco’s is my favourite, best arancini ever!! And yes I did spend some dollars to support the business here). The salon needs to advertise in the suite. The suites amenities should match what is advertised ( double shower heads, which did not exist in our suite). I loved having an electric fireplace! So cozy. The lights that are geared to save energy made the hallway super super dark and scary especially for women. They need a trigger light on each door so it is not pitch dark when you open the door. It was scary until you walked a door or two then the lights turn on. Offering room service from the onsite restaurant would have been amazing and appreciated.. had to pay door dash to deliver my order, a breakfast option would be great! Put bento box breakfasts in the fridge! Win. Overall loved it. I will return.

The Stone Mill Inn is a must stay opportunity if you’re looking for a great hotel in St. Catharine’s Ontario. The inn has an amazing restaurant called Johnny Rocco’s Italian Grill which serves incredible food and drinks for lunch and dinner. The restaurant staff were all wonderful.
