Miserable

Moved room twice and was made to pack my own things up in darkness . I addressed this with the hotel manager the next morning just to be told she would have more training with the staff. Absolute joke. Never again.

Disappointed

Check in was awful. Asked to wait for 10-15 minutes as system “wasn’t working” with no apology or empathy from receptionist. Went to bar to get drink, had to pay as couldn’t charge to a room yet. Went back to reception with a queue of people that were being checked in (by someone else) all fine so took about 25-30 mins in all. Still no apology. Think should have come find me when system working?? Bar was all of 10 yards away! Got to room, and whilst clean, the carpet was threadbare, the same as it was along corridor to room (3rd floor). Room was also quite dark but think that was a “theme” Went to restaurant for dinner and staff were excellent and food was really good but was overpriced for what it was. See photo (£26) Warning, again dark theme and menu was extremely difficult to read, even waiting staff struggled!

I was told the kitchen was closed at 2105 when it states its open till 2130. Only options was a cold dry sandwich. Not really acceptable when arriving later to check in

Warmer in the artic

The room was FREEZING, even with the aircon on heat and 28 degrees (its max) it wasn’t sending out any heat. No radiators! Additionally, there were 2 plug sockets in the whole room - with 2 mobiles, watches, laptop etc there isn’t anyway of charging/using all. The check in staff wasn’t that helpful and on checkout I wasn’t even asked how my stay was. Restaurant was nice, food beautiful and the service in the bar was great

The room was a bit tired and needs an update.Worn carpets & cracked tiles etc. Only one double socket in whole room by the desk/table. Nothing by the bed. We found the mattress a bit hard. Room clean. Only one lift working. No dining at the hotel. Hotel in office/ small business park. Several Tesla chargers on-site which were well used. Close to M1 J27.
