Lovely stay

Lovey stay in Room 1 at The Century House B&B. Clean, beautifully renovated century home in central area that was quiet at night, on-site parking, and Vittorio is an attentive and friendly host who prepared delicious breakfasts. Highly recommend!

Good place if you like to walk to things.

The B&B had been recently renovated. The host was friendly and helpful. And the B&B is about a 15 minute walk from the Parliament buildings and other attractions. It was great.

First visit to Ottawa

This B & B is in a great location to access all the sights we wanted to enjoy. It is only a short walk to parliament hill. The house is newly renovated and very clean. The breakfasts were very tasty and healthy. The room was comfortable, although it is missing a comfortable chair to relax in. Would have been nice to have a space to sit and read for a bit. All in all a very good clean place to stay while visiting Ottawa

One of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept on. Zero cancellation after an accidental booking was archaic. Breakfast was reasonably tastly but still cold, no meat or egg. Would have been what I would expect from 2/3rds the price.

Good Central Place to Stay

The house is attractive and pleasant. It's not far from a rather dodgy area, which you have to walk through on the way to the Byword Market, but it's safe enough. The room was a little small but reasonably comfortable, though sound travelled through the walls. Breakfast included fresh fruit and baking as well as juice and coffee or tea. That was good. The cold overnight oats, served every day in Mason jars, was not our favourite. All in all, it was all right and met our needs as a place within walking distance of many destinations.

Nice and quiet place, close to Ottawa University, Shopping Center, ByWard Market all in walking distance. Breakfast made by Vittorio everyday is healthy, not sweet and doesn't make you sleepy after meal.As few people stay there due to the number of rooms, you can feel just like at home. Really comfortable place.

Highly Recommended

I can highly recommend this B and B. This is an excellent place to stay in Ottawa. Very beautiful home, within walking distance to many of the city's wonders and attractions and close to University of Ottawa. Only a short distance to the Byward Market for great dinners and entertainment and an easy stroll to the Parliament buildings, the Rideau Canal and the National Gallery. The host creates an excellent breakfast which is bound to please all visitors. Parking and wifi are included adding to the value of staying here.
