The staff and service were amazing. I had 2 kids and found the room not to be big enough. The beds were amazing, but I wished they had bigger rooms with sitting area. There was no microwave or plates and utensils. We loved their game room with ping pong and basketball. The gym could have been more equipped with machines. Overall, not a bad stay but not excellent!

The Metcalfe Hotel is a beautiful place to stay. I loved the welcoming lobby with natural light coming from the skylight and the wood book shelves adding to the ambiance. The menu at Cocotte was excellent. The restaurant and hotel staff were all friendly and professional. My room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. I look forward to returning to this downtown Ottawa gem of a hotel.
