Awful

It clearly states on the website book now pay later for this hotel, so I booked and a deposit was taken from my card of €104 so I called about this and an agent contacted the hotel and was advised that this would be returned to me upon arrival after I paid the full amount of my stay, so I said okay. I booked 2 hotels at the same time this one and another in Amsterdam as I travelled from one place to the other, when I arrived in Amsterdam I was advised it would take a couple of days for the deposit to go back into my account so I asked if they could keep this money and not refund it and I will pay the remainder in cash, the hotel where happy to oblige so when I travelled to Paris I asked the lady at reception if I could do the same here, she advised that this would be perfectly okay and I paid the remainder in cash. Upon checkout from this hotel this same lady advised that there was a problem with my card payment, she said instead of keeping the deposit as my first nights stay she returned it to the card and had since been trying to get it back from my card but it is declining, this is due to the fact that the money had not been returned to the card yet and there was not enough for another transaction, so this meant that I had to pay in cash the deposit again even though the initial one was not returned to my card and still hasn’t been. This was a huge problem as it was time for me to catch my flight and I had little money left and it was not enough to cover the amount.

Le calme et la geolocalisation de l'hotel proche du metro de la ligne 13 et pastres loin du quartier de Montmarte en metro aussi. Merci pour votre accueil et le petit goûter à disposition à l'accueil pour boire et manger. 😁😉

Cher Monsieur, Nous vous remercions d'avoir pris le temps de nous donner votre avis. Nous sommes désolé que votre séjour ne vous ai pas convenu . Nos chambres patios sont au calme et viennent d'être rénovées . Toutes nos chambres sont de la même dimension, malheureusement à Paris il est rare de trouver de grand espaces. Vous pouvez demander le type de chambre qui vous ferai plaisir quelques jours à l'avance à notre équipe chargée des reservations . Nous espérons que votre séjour parisien n'en n'aura pas trop était impacté . Cordialement
