Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The area it was in was a little sketchy, the room was dirty (like dirt spots in shower/mud on carpet), we were actually supposed to check in at another hotel on the same street but there were no directions to do so. If the janitor hadn't have been leaving the Hotel when we first arrived we never would have known.
Basically a private hostel room. No elevator up to the 4th floor, no hot water, stains on the carpet and maid service every 2 days. But- really close to Gare du Nord and Gate du Est. Hop on bus st Gare du EST to see the city. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Excellent location and great price.
On the first day it was okay the room was clean and all.
The 4 other days it was never cleaned we needed to take the trash out ourselves. We went everyday to another hotel to get cleaned towels. Because there were no reception there.
Its a small space and not comfortable. It is not like the pictures and its overpriced.I would better pay 50 euros more per night and go to a better hotel next time
I have to agree with another recent review of the property that this hotel is not the same as the ones in the pictures. Or at least they only have a couple of rooms that look like that. Our room had a hot water pipe at head level over the toilet that was hot to the touch... strange since the toilet was on the opposite side of the room from the sink and shower. Half of the lights were burnt out and the two over the bed would pulse when turned on. I immediately pulled up google and booked a different hotel and left the key at the desk. This was not my first time traveling abroad or to Paris specifically, I've stayed in some seedy spots throughout europe/asia. If I were traveling alone and staying in a hostel this would have been understandable but the room didn't live up to the photos and we moved closer to Gare De Nord.
The hotel was wildly different than how it was portrayed in reviews online. We checked in and checked out 7 minutes later - never in my life have I done that. Still waiting on my refund, so we’ll see how that goes in the coming days. Floor had stains, hair all over the ‘clean’ bedding and the bathroom was inexcusable to the point that my husband said he would not even shower in there with shoes ON. Mold on the floors, shower curtain and tiles. Shower was about 2’x2’, typical for most basic hotel showers in Europe but there was what appeared to be used soap bars on the floor of the shower, but we had made the decision to check out long before doing any real investigating into those unidentified objects. Would not recommend if you are looking to maintain your sanity on your getaway to Paris. I think the front desk manager wanted to be helpful, but there was a major language barrier - I speak minimal French, enough to understand and communicate basic conversation and needs but this was tough.
Hotel was smelly the moment you walked in. I know its a capital city but the standards were poor. Couldn't open the windows to freshen up the room as the smell from kebab shop underneath was even worse.
Only if you are desperate would you stay here. My friend found a pubic hair under her pillow!!!
Genuinely the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. I've stayed in 30+ hotels in Paris and never experienced anything like this. Filthy rooms, staff not getting the rooms right - we booked twins and got doubles, staff eating chinese food over the counter and on documents as slowly serving us, pubic hairs on sheets, the only window went to an air vent with the strong smells from a kebab shop vent. Mice! Horrendous.
No pillow cases on pillows. I got in 3 am ask them to let me sleep till 12 for late check out at 12 30, They agreed but still got knock on the door at 10 am. couldn't get back to sleep after.Scary narrow winding dark stairs up to 4th floor. Price should be cheaper
This hotel is not fit for humans in fact I would not let my animals sleep in that filth. Smelly mould on walls and carpet no shower screen and was the most horendis hotel I've ever seen. Nothing good at all to say about this hotel and very disappointed you have this on your listing as it's no where near standards it should be. Definitely let down. Stayed 10 min and left I just had to book elsewhere as they had no other 3 person rooms ( not that I'd say) your company has let me down terribly and was the first time I've ever used your company. Nothing like the pictures at all maybe you need to send people every few year to check the standards of these hotels ️your got on your listing. I would actually like one of your managers to reply to me and discuss this matter. I will be returning 3 sept

I can’t believe you, Expedia, would endorse a property like this. It wasn’t clean. There was duct tape holding the door knob on, the ceiling was peeling, but the biggest thing is that it is not located in a safe location for tourists. We checked out as fast as we checked in and sucked up the loss of our money. Better that then get mugged and lose all of our money!
Not a very safe place to stay. Unable to sleep, saw about 5 mice at night and was afraid to have them crawl in my bed. No elevator and had to go up 4 flights of stairs with suitcases.
Do NOT recommend this place at all.
