Such a beautiful place with a high level of cleanliness, we couldnt fault it! Loved the little touches of coffee machine & classical music played on arrival into our room. We throughly enjoyed our time at the bell and we're already planning our next visit! Brunch was beautifully presented and the staff we're all fantastic, we've stayed in quite a few hotels and honestly this was one of our favourite. A beautiful, peaceful gem. Thankyou!

Rooms were decorated beautifully and had all the amenities. The gentleman working the night reception was friendly and helpful. Helen in the restaurant gave fabulous service, the breakfast was lovely and nothing was too much. Great place to stay

Wonderful hotel, looks & feels amazing, staff are very good & professional, breakfast was very good. Well worth a stay, only downfall was the fans need cleaning or definitely updating as they ( two of them ) were dusty or not working so ended up not having a fan & in hot weather & no aircon not the best, but that was the only let down. But i would definitely recommend.

All staff were very professional, helpful and courteous at all times. The room was easily 5***** and exceptional value. The food and service in general were second to none. Great Period Property Hotel

I checked in late to the hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was not being served apart from desserts or cheese board. They also advised the restaurant across the road were still serving food. I opted for the cheese board and was not disappointed. Lovely selection of stilton cheeses, biscuits and onion pickle. The hotel room I stayed was is in a period part of the property so had all of the lovely quirky bits (uneven floor, creaking wood, etc.). It was a large room and all was very clean. The room included Nespresso coffee machine and you could order fresh milk. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast was a good selection of cooked meals and continental (cereals and fruit). The food was served quickly and it was tasty. Would recommend staying in the hotel.

Very lovely atmosphere nice sunny evening so we could sit out in the courtyard, our room did look over courtyard so it was a bit noisy as it was hot so window was open all night but didn't spoil our stay. All staff were friendly and helpful at all times
