More negatives than positives. Pool area was nice however lots of areas need repairing/updating. First room smelt of damp and had ant infestation. Second room, drains smelt and had cockroaches. Maid ‘forgot’ to service room one day ! Bar staff were good but reception staff offish

Te Moana is a great resort hotel. Our room was spacious with a large balcony and a great view of the pool area and the ocean. Dining options are limited outside of the hotel and the hotel is about 20’ taxi drive to Papeete.

I did not have breakfast at the hotel. The infinity pool with the swim up bar was very nice & I enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon “pool.” Be sure to watch sunset at the seaside bars I too about 40 pictures, it was so beautiful. The hotel was very nice to accommodate us with a 5pm checkout for $50, after we found out for flight out would be at 2am the following morning. We did not expect to have an overnight in Tahiti, but we lucked onto the Te Moana & enjoyed our stay.
