Our family vacation to the Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites Resort & Spa was a major letdown. Unfortunately, the resort did not live up to the images or descriptions presented online. The condition of the room was unacceptable—outdated, poorly maintained, and in need of serious repairs. The shower drained poorly, the TV was damaged with black lines across the screen, and the air conditioning was inconsistent—either freezing or not working at all. Despite multiple requests for service, these issues remained unresolved throughout our stay.
The "online check-in" feature was useless—it took a long time to complete and we still waited 30 minutes at the front desk upon arrival. Communication was also a challenge, as the representative we were directed to could not assist us effectively.
Dining was another disappointment. The buffet options were basic and lacked variety. Even attempting to make a dinner reservation was difficult, and on our final night, a confirmed reservation was lost, leaving us waiting nearly two hours just to be seated.
The most frustrating part was being pressured into attending a lengthy sales presentation disguised as assistance, which took precious time away from our family.
Overall, the resort needs significant improvements to its facilities, service, and guest experience. This was not the relaxing vacation we expected or paid for.
