We liked the geographical position of the property, for us it was ideal. Less appealing was it's position next to a busy forecourt and 24 hour shop also the A4. The whole appearance of the building was that it was tired. The impression was of the hotel being an overnight stop for white van men on contract work, who perhaps wouldn't mind the faults and problems as they would be gone next day. This attitude meant that the toilet that would only flush after much persuasion and the loose seat that needed our constant attention was reported immediately but never fixed, or indeed ever mentioned by staff again. Water pressure for the shower was very poor and there was black mould on some of the tiles. We survived, but are unlikely to return.
