A great atmosphere at the Tan Hill, a good crowd was in on the night that we visited. The dinner was very good and the breakfast excellent. Our room was great with a good view out over the moors. If we're ever up that way we'll definitely stay again.

Terribly slow service. Cold food, huge wait times. Staff are lovely but organisation is poor and they are overwhelmed by the volume of people. Strange situation with every food order and drink order, regardless of you’re sat at a booked table or not, having to go through the bar where there is always a very long wait.

Get this on your bucket list

This was on our bucket list and so pleased we went absolutely fab place. Food was great and service was great the room was fab and the bed was kingsize and very comfy we had a great time. This is an ideal place for walkers and cyclists
