The property was clean and quiet. The location is convenient. There are a lot of restaurants, museums in the vicinity and a grocery store next door. Staff were nice and very helpful.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The room was clean and the fridge did have beverages for you at no charge. The room was extremely small. There is no dresser to put away your belongings and the “closet” is a pole over where the coffee maker and sugar, etc are located. The shower has no lip so water just ran all over. There was no security to prevent anyone from walking in when no one was at the front desk. The staff was very nice and as helpful as possible.

We stayed 5 nights and everything was great! Breakfast was amazing and the ladies in charge were attentive, kind and friendly. The view was beautiful and selection of items varied from hot sctambled eggs, bacon and toast to cold yogurt, fruit, juice and yummy pastries. The concierge was avaialble 24/7 and very helpful as well. They gave us information on how to take the bus, metro and train to Pisa. The also offer a shuttle to and from the airport for a fee. Definitely will stay here on our return trip to Rome!

Customer service was great. Facilities are quite out dated, bed was like sleeping on a stone table and air conditioning was non existent despite the temperature control box on the wall. The breakfast was also a rather odd experience. Very small space and seems due to the small space staff could not keep up with demand. For a solo traveler, the accommodations may be sufficient, however for a group of three adults is was far to close for comfort.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and I always felt safe walking to and from the hotel. Conveniently, there’s a supermarket right next door, which made it easy to grab snacks and drinks. I stayed in a smaller room with a twin-sized bed – perfect for a solo traveler like myself. The bathroom was clean, and the room was tidied daily, which was always nice to come back to. One thing to note: the nearest metro stop (Flaminio on Line A) is about 1.6 km (1 mile) from the hotel, so be prepared for a bit of walking if you plan to use the metro to get around. Overall, I’d definitely stay at Hotel Astrid again when I book another solo trip to Rome
