Close to Vatican

It’s a small place close to Vatican ,if you don’t expect a lot it’s ok

In need of a dose of maintenance

The rooms were clean and the staff friendly but this hotel was basically falling to pieces. The air conditioning did not work, this was not too much of a problem as it was cool however had you stayed here in August it would have been unbearable. TV did not work just a dead device Room safes did not work again a dead device because the batteries had not been replaced no spares held at reception either so we had to use a box in the office to store our valuables. Wifi sporadic sometimes it was on sometimes not The bathroom was downright dangerous no mat and very slippery especially in the bath There was no hand rail fitted which made getting in and out of the bath hazardous. Add to that the shower which had been piped with unequal pressures making the shower run cold should anyone use a tap or flush an adjacent toilet Most of the fixtures and fittings were tired and worn out with veneers peeling off of furniture, the bathroom was cleaned but there was mould and grime around edges and corners In short it looked like it had never had a thorough clean for ages That said the breakfast was ok the staff were friendly and did their best with what they had.
