Accommodation going through the Bar. Shower was working with Hot water only( really hot). Couldn't take the bath. Toilet exhaust fan was not working. First day informed reception, when came back evening another person in reception. He said, I don't know, if it is not ready once again complaint in the morning. It was not repaired and 2nd day also I couldn't take bath.

False advertising

This hotel was not advertised as a party pub with karaoke as the HUGE sign at the front of the hotel states. There was a party in the pub what I loud music until after 1130pm. We had been up since 5am travelled 2hours and had taken part in a physical course and had to be up at 6am the next morning too. The bedside table was damaged, lack of plug sockets, the mirror was right in a dark corner with no light under the tv. Breakfast was 8am, we arrived at 801am and I had to go and find staff at 815 to ask how we ordered our booked food. At 825 someone asked us our room number but we were not told or given a choice about our food options. 845am we were brought cold toast, at 850am we were brought our food...hard warned up over cooked fried egg, soggy fried bread, warmed up or kept warm mushrooms and microwaved beans. The sausage and bacon were fine. I had to ask for more toast that was warm. We had to leave for a course at 9am but due to breakfast being 50min to come to the table we were late for our course which I was getting assessed and examined on. I told the receptionist but was not offered a refund no breakfast I was told there's only one staff on as only 9 were booked for breakfast!!! We left unrested and practically unfed. Would never recommend to anyone. If this was advertised as a pub fine but not as a hotel with rooms right next to the bar area and do not charge £5.50 for a breakfast which takes 50min and comes inedible. Appalling service.
