Bathroom smelt really badly of drains. Treated badly by breakfast staff. Told to move tables as apparently table was being kept clear for a conference (no signs to this effect), but then other guests were allowed to use the same table.

Staff very friendly and helpful, bedding very clean and comfortable. Décor was very shabby in places, paper peeling from ceilings, rusty radiators etc.

I didn't like the room we were given. it was misrepresented. we booked a superior room on line , the rooms shown on the pictures wasn't in any way like the room we were given. when I complained they said there wasn't another room in the hotel. they discounted us £37.00 which wasn't good enough, because if we knew that was the only room, if it was on the pictures we would never have gone there. The bed was disgusting, my husband & I are still suffering from bad backs.

Very pleasant overnight stay. Used the pool and gym which were nice. Breakfast was good, evening meal a little expensive but food was good. Will return.

Location: Schöne Altstadt in Rye.

Das Hotel befindet sich ausserhalb auf dem Land und ist sehr ruhig. Schöne Athmosphäre.
