Good location. Nice staff. Room isn’t well thought out in terms of furnishing. Get rid of the enormous dresser, mount the tv on the wall, and put a desk in there so someone might use their computer.

A lovely older hotel with the best breakfast around! The grounds are tiny but lovely and the walk to the plaza is a walkable 10 minutes or so. A quiet safe place to stay in the historic part of Santa Fe. And wonderfully dog friendly, too!

I really loved staying here it was friendly , they offered me lemon aid and home made marshmallows when I checked in. The breakfast was so wonderful. I really enjoyed my stay here. The bed was also super comfy.

My hotel room was large and in very good condition. The hotel is old, so the wood floors are very creaky. Thankfully the people above me were quite, otherwise this could have been a bad experience. The free breakfast was very good.

It was an excellent room but the room and the property itself needs a little upgrading. The bed was excellent and it was walking distance to the Plaza area. My wife loved and we will stay there again should we travel to Santa Fe.

Comfy king bed, bathroom floor dirty around wall edges, dark interior with no cozy rugs. Water from a downspout after a daytime storm had seeped under the door and across the room. We notified the front desk and received extra towels to mop up. This happened again the next night with another storm and the manager took care of it. Nice breakfast.

What one has to know up front is that this is a collection of rooms created out of adjacent homes. Half the property forms its own cute neighborhood near the breakfast and lobby area while others are in a similar enclosed area on the other side of the street up an adjacent road. This leads to a cozy feeling and makes it quiet and away from tourists in the area. The drawback is these are indeed historic homes and one cannot know what one will get prior to arrival. I believe the studio rooms will suit those who aren’t particularly demanding and are traveling alone. We had a superior studio but the standard room we also booked was well worth the upcharge as it was much nicer. Would expect the other more expensive options to be equally much nicer than the two basic ones by a considerable degree. Mini split AC/Heat worked well with a little fiddling. Deadbolt in one room only was lockable from the inside but perhaps they will be able to correct that. Breakfast options are pleasant if not outstanding so again YMMV depending on expectations and what you choose from the menu. Parking at the main facility is ample while it can be limited at the rooms that aren’t at the main site. However it’s all very close together so I didn’t find this to be an issue. Location is excellent and one really only drives to get to parts of Santa Fe outside the historic center. That is to say many people won’t at all.

It was safe, with a locked gate entry to the space, and the food, coffee and drinks were all delicious. My room was large with a lovely fireplace and downtown was walkable from the property. Perfect, relaxing spot!

Breakfast was the highlight of this stay. Found pet policy confusing so know they will charge you a pet fee at the property. Property is charming, room was ok, very dark. If stay again, would upgrade from Casita to super Casita in hopes there was a door separating the bedroom from living room.

This is a super quirky place to stay near downtown Santa Fe! The Front Desk was so welcoming offering us homemade marshmallows and chips upon arrival. We stayed in a studio which had a kitchenette and a fireplace. It was helpful that there were laundry facilities onsite. We enjoyed the comp breakfast the next morning. Parking was free. If you enjoy staying someplace that isn’t cookie-cutter then this is the place for you!

Las Palomas is a hidden gem just a few blocks from the Plaza. Breakfast is yummy, the staff members are helpful and friendly, and the rooms are cozy and quaint. About the only affordable, authentic option left in the heart of the city!
