We just spent 3 weeks at this hotel, our 3rd time there. As always the staff are wonderful, the food excellent and the best spot on the beach. This wonderful place has been discovered so is busier now but still an absolute gem.

The room was somewhat dated, scratches on the furniture and the air conditioner roared like a lion, very noisy. The beds were very comfortable. The 2 swimming pools are lovely. All the food in their many restaurants was excellent. All the Staff were very kind. My biggest negative was the CONSTANT LOUD MUSIC around the 2 swimming pools, every day from 10am-10pm ….. 12 hours of loud noise, and some nights i was awake with this music until after midnight!!! Not my idea of a quiet and peaceful vacation. Even though i asked on several occasions to turn the volume down…. I received a kind response but no behavioural change and the music stayed loud regardless of my request. So if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation, you should not stay here…. Find another place There are no phones in the rooms so the only way to communicate with the Front Desk from your room is to phone them on their Whatsapp phone number or text them. I did both but they never picked up the phone…. Not once during our 9 night stay. So you can see, communication and accountability to their Guests is very Low if not non-existent! Chahue Bay is very pretty and not too busy. The sand is very coarse and your feet sink into it when walking. The ocean is lovely to swim in but be careful when entering and particularly when exiting as the waves and undertow can be very strong and overwhelming. In summary, this facility was okay but we will look for a different place when we return

The hotel is amazing. The rooms are beautiful, the views are spectacular, and the food is incredible! A part from there not being mini fridges in the room which would have been ideal to have, there are amenities nearby for a quick fix (grocery store, restaurants on site, and staff happy to provide ice for the room that filled the cooler we used). The staff are so welcoming and kind, which made our stay even more lovely! The grounds are pristinely kept and while it’s excellently located to town, Quinta Bella is definitely a spot you want to stay and hang out for maximum relaxation each day.

Spotless facility, very helpful staff, great restaurants, close to the beach, great views from our room, felt very safe. Only issue was not having a small fridge in the room, and that the activities offered, such as tour of the bays, were much more expensive than those provided by others in the area. Would stay again.

Caution! Do NOT book Quinta Bella Huatulco. I booked a premium room at this hotel for one night starting tomorrow, Friday January 16, 2026. The highway/road to the hotel is closed and will be indefinitely. A mountain is being moved to build the highway. It’s open only from 4-7am or after 7pm. It’s a dangerous drive when it is open and very dark and dirty. I was advised not to travel for my own safety. I called the hotel 3 days in advance. They would not allow a cancellation without full penalty despite the situation and several days notice; meaning no refund whatsoever. I asked if I could move my reservation to a later date and again the hotel would not accommodate. It took 48 hours for the hotel to respond. I repeatedly asked to speak to the Hotel Manager and was repeatedly ignored. I have not cancelled my reservation in hopes the hotel will change its mind and do the right thing. I would expect this hotel, as in all hotels, should put the safety of their customers first. Or at least notify customers of a major issue, like disruption to the access road, upon booking. Very upset! Update: the hotel reached out and said they have reviewed my request and will allow me to rebook in two days. That was the only option. Unfortunately the highway will not be open in two days and alternative arrangements cannot be made in that time frame. This offer is not only a reflection of poor customer service but shows no common sense whatsoever.

Our second time staying at the Quinta Bella. Beautiful, well kept grounds. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most of the staff could communicate well in English. The wifi was not the best in our room, but it was good in the restaurants and by the pools.

Very very good. Well staffed with good service. Beach and pools were premium, but the restaurants were what stood out, prices are normal, atmosphere, presentation and quality were better than anything in town. Location is great to get the Huatulco experience all with in walking distance. Small hotel so lobby is not grand.

Poor customer service ie: no drinking water in room and promised that it would be delivered and never showed up. The room had a sewer smell which we ignored for the first 6 days. On day 7 we returned to our room after being out all day to workmen in our suite fixing the problem and therefore no access to our room we inquired at the front desk. we were then told to wait for a couple of hours and they would let us know when the work was done. After 3 hours we finally checked back and it was done, when asked about some sort of compensation we were promised conversation with the manager that never happened. We asked for 3 days and were continually put off with they are out right now they will call you etc. Finally at check out we asked for some resolution which ended in there is no compensation the manager says sorry is enough! Keep in mind the next day no Electricity for 7 hours= no A/C working which may sound fussy but at 34 degrees and room on 4th floor was very uncomfortable. We were promised a conversation about compensation but the management ignored our concerns. Disappointed with the management and lack of professionalism. Beach was amazing. Onsite restaurant were amazing and delicious. Many staff had poor English which was not a problem but there did not seem to be much interest in them using English. Beautiful facility amazing location but based on the lack of management showing ethical engagement to make the situation right i would not reccomend this hotel to others

Beautiful hotel with excellent restaurants and an amazing beach. We didn’t even have time to try all the restaurants but the ones we did were excellent, particularly Aroma and the pizza place. The beach is beautiful and the pools are well maintained with excellent service.

This is a well kept property. Many English speakers and very attentive and helpful. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely beach. Can be strong waves but while visiting they were not anything a swimmer couldn’t manage. Food and drinks are expensive but food is very good. Stayed 5 days. Busy but within reason. Would stay again. Note the balcony pools are not hot tubs. They are cool off dip pools and rarely did I see anyone use. Had a mountain view room and was very quiet. I would choose that again bc the sea view facing rooms are likely to be much noisier. Quiet after 10pm. Lost a plastic key and had to pay $10 to replace it! Towels are great.
