Not a good hotel

Started off by charging $ (a lot 45?) for parking. The garage was not well lit and no elevator. The stairs smelled like urine and there was food & garbage on the stairs. Then, 2 of the bath towels had poop stains on them! And the last day, my son and I both had welts on our arms like bug bites. I would not stay there again.

Older hotel that has been updated somewhat. Beds were comfortable. Close to transit and walking distance to tourist attractions. Convenient location. Because it is a downtown hotel, as expected in large downtown areas it might feel a bit uneasy walking around late at night if you’re travelling alone; however we did not find it unsafe as a group of 3.

Nice room and hotel. Very clean and well appointed. Restaurant and bar were only fair. Docked the property two stars because of staff. One of the bartenders was very unfriendly and the front desk staff often seemed in disarray. Location is great.

Not wheelchair or handicap friendly at all. Valet service was okay but be sure you have your ticket to get medications out of your vehicle in a medical emergency or be ready to argue with them about what keys are yours. And call ahead to be sure rooms are ready at check in time.

Overpriced, outdated

Our stay at the Warwick Hotel was average, and fairly overpriced. The building itself is a bit outdated. While old fashioned can be good, it must be properly maintained in order to truly give off the right impression. The Warwick unfortunately fell short on this part. Lots of scratches on furniture and fixtures. The flooring could also use a makeover. Upon arrival to our room, we quickly realized the sink drainage plug was broken. No water could drain. On our second day, the cleaning staff took our hand soap away. When we called the front desk for more, they promised to send more however we never received it. The parking situation is also less than favorable. On top of already paying $250 per night, you must pay an additional $50 per night to park at the hotel’s garage. Also, the “balcony” in the room is merely a sliver of concrete, barely 1ft wide. One thing I will give good credit for it the pool area was fairly nice. This hotel has potential to provide a good stay, but is certainly not worth $300 per night.
