While the lobby was pretty and clean and the staff was excellent, the hotel rooms had poor air conditioning in the 100°+ days and the bathrooms smelled moldy and had ants crawling everywhere. It was really unfortunate given the 4-star level hotel rating.

4 day Seville trip

Such a lovely big, clean and modern hotel with walking distance to a lot of places! Views from the pool are amazing. Breakfast was really good loads of options & the pool bar / restaurant was good too. Only downside is there isn’t enough sun beds for the amount of guests especially when it was busy over the weekend so you have to make sure you get your towels at 11! Apart from that amazing hotel will stay again when visiting Seville :)

Very nice room. Super clean. Staff mostly very friendly and helpful. Pool very chilled. Lots of beds. Nice bar. Booked a terrace room. Waste of money as unlike the photos it was North facing. Had to ask three times and also complain to Expedia before sun loungers sent late on our second day. No view. and one of the staff very patronising when we asked and told us we hadn't paid enough for our room to have loungers. It was the only negative about our stay but quite annoying! Breakfast excellent value for €10 each. Good coffee and lots of hot and cold options. 20 min walk to old town. Nice parks and local bars nearby. Taxi rank outside too.

This was such a well-maintained modern well air conditioned hotel. The pool and the bar are open and in good shape. It's really hot in Saville so it's important that the pool is working. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The only bad thing is the gym. If you have to work out, just be aware that there are only a handful of machines and weights there.

Amazing location with the best hotel pool in Seville. Breakfasts and lunches were fantastic. However service at the pool bar was very slow. They need more staff there. Those there worked very hard but need more support.

The hotel was close to the market/center area, and historical sights like Royal Alcázar and Plaza de Espana. The building is beautiful and the pool area clean. It is under renovation, however it doesn't take away from the overall experience. Staff was very considerate and obliged me with being a lounger chair since or room didn't have it. Only thing that was off was the toilet being so close to the tub. We are tall girlies so our knees wouldn't allow us to be comfortable. Other than that i enjoyed my stay.

Rooms are spacious and clean. A bit of a walk into the town centre (about 20-30 min which can feel a lot longer in the summer heat!) but very close to Plaza España. Pool was very busy.

We booked our trip to Seville fairly last minute, Meliá was one of the top recommended hotels for the dates we were planning for. The location is perfect, an easy busy ride from the airport, walking distance into the main city streets and situated just across the street from the Capitania General.

The hotel, rooms and facilities were excellent. However, in the heat of Sevilla in June the walk to the old town and nearby metro and tram stations turned out to be more inconvenient than I expected. While I very much enjoyed my stay it was quite expensive for what it was.
