We got stuck in the lift on the 2nd day , the staff didnt speak very good english , we gotbtold not to open the doors then 30 mins later got told to open the doors by the same member of staff, during this time bearing in mind my partner is going through cancer treatment and has a very weak bladder she soiled herself which was most embarrassing and could of easily been avoided

It’s a budget hotel. No bells or whistles and you get what you pay for. Every time I came back from the office, my key didn’t work. Only ever one person on reception and everything is very slow. Was supposed to stay three nights but checked out a day early. It’s fine if you’re going to the arena and need one night but nothing more than that.

If car park is full (quite small so most likely) has an option for overflow opposite hotel. Very handy for Utilita Arena and the room was comfy and equipped well for the one night.

I know it says budget, the rooms were tiny, the toilet was like it was in a cuboard, the shower we had to drap a towel over the door, although frosted glass, i didnt want to see my adult son in the shower. Would of like a kettle in the room.

It definitely is a budget hotel but if you need something close to the Arena it's perfect! Just a short walk from the hotel to the venue, and a bit further if you want Meadowhall etc. Very basic room but bed was clean & comfy and shower was powerful & hot. Breakfast included and perfectly adequate. All the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly.

Staff friendly and welcoming, Basic room but with plenty of space for a solo traveller for just one night. Compact but efficient. No kettle but supplied on request which was welcome. TV wouldn't change channel despite trying two remotes but they did offer to change room. Heating worked great and heated up really quick. Hot water in shower (not super powerful, but adequate) Only really disappointing point was the £8.50 charge for parking!!This is too excessive for a budget hotel.
