Great little pub for an overnight stay. Staff are very friendly and inviting. Food is absolutely delicious. Staff take Covid and hygiene very seriously - table service only, ensuring people use the hand sanitiser etc, which is very reassuring. The bedroom is a little dated and the mattress especially could do with being replaced asap. The en-suite is fine, however, not sure whether there is an issue with water pressure, however, we got more water out of the sink tap than from the shower! Minor details that with a few tweaks, could be even better. Having said that, as soon as they change the mattress, I'd stay there again.

Clean hotel shame about the food

Pros: Rooms were clean
Cons: Quality of food
Location: Went to wedding in
Evening meal and one breakfast poor. 2 night stay was more than enough. Couldn’t face 2 nd breakfast. Had refund for meal , pie pastry uncooked. Breakfast mould on jam
