In little India, the location is central and ideal as travel by MRT (Little India) to various parts of Singapore is only 5 minutes away.My 4 day stay in early November was great, Hilton Garden Inn is a clean and friendly hotel with many breakfast option. Cost is a reasonable compare to other hotels in the same area. Chiew Mian with guest services was terrific as she listened to any concerns and addressed immediately. After intial check in, I didn't have to follow up with anything as she had looked after everything including having my room in a quiet area. I would highly recommend booking directly with Hilton as it make things easier for any requests. Booking through Expedia was not great, I was looking for a reason why I was charged immediately for the booking when the listing says "you won't be charged yet", no one would answer the question and default to a standard answer. I called a few times and the same answer..Apparently you need to have the prompt "pay now or pay later" to defer payment on your payment page. Anyways, good hotel to stay and recommended

We had reserved this room with breakfast included. Upon check in we were told by a very unsympathetic receptionist that breakfast was not included. We are senior citizens and were asked for proof. Our selection criteria was with breakfast to be included in the reservation through Expedia. Upon calling Expedia I was told that there seemed to be glitch and confirmation only showed as breakfast "available". A word of warning for all travellers to make sure that the confirmation clearly reads as breakfast "included". Expedia offered to help with refunds on return but we had not budgeted for $300 just for breakfasts. The receptionist was most unhelpful during this time. It appeared that this had happened before in this hotel. Expedia were willing to help. The room was small- not many TV channels to watch. No ice. Would not book this hotel on our next trip.

Cons:Room was clean. Breakfast was great. Shops at walkable distance. Close to MRT. House keeping staff Dicky,Pla,Huahao andHaving did a great job. The cons: not quiet. Can hear people from floors above you and next to the rooms. No bottle water available. Water filter is installed in the bathroom sink . Shower stall has no door so the water from shower spills out into the toilet area. No refrigerator.

Musty smelling room, very hot, takes a long tome for AC to kick in, at 5am , u start hearing the drums/chimes/music from the temple next to it, windows do not open , no ventilating in room, feels suffocating. Fan in bathroom is very very slow, does not come on after shower. Premium price paid for standard room, breakfast limited choice, which was fine but dinner on half board stay was a complete let down , ate once, couldn’t eat the food provided, ended up eating outside as the dinner menu is very limited to fixed 2 courses, considereding premium price paid for half board Staff are helpful , professional.
