Dog friendly with area in restaurant both evening and breakfast. Bar area modern but still lots of character with food menu to suit most tastes. Evening meal of ribs and fajitas was good and breakfast good and plentiful.

When it said dog friendly I was worried the rooms may not be perfectly clean having had a bad experience elsewhere previously. However, cleaners obviously do a great job. Lovely quality bedding. Would definitely stay again

Mid week 2 night stay spent walking around the local area with my husband and our dog. Hotel room was a bit small with a dog and the bed was quite firm and low but overall adequate. Ate both nights in bar area and found food good although it was difficult to find a free table so worth booking in advance. Weekly locals jamming session was enjoyable and entertaining although the quiz night was disappointing as it was very rushed at the end with no quiz papers handed back to check own score etc. Best part of our stay was the dog friendly bar and breakfast area serving homemade fruit compote for pancakes/toast.
