The hotel is very close to the town centre but tranquil and calm, which we appreciated. It’s also opposite the only lift that takes you down to beach level for the ferries, beach clubs and beyond. Very good location.

A beautiful little gem of a hotel. We couldn’t have picked a more wonderful place to stay. All staff we met with were so friendly and helpful, nothing was any trouble. Lovely toiletries - including conditioner and a powerful hairdryer. Location is excellent, close to everything. Rooms were beautifully appointed and so comfortable.

On a scale of 1:10, we’d rate it a 11. Short walk to city centre, although there was plenty to do in the historic centre, staff was so friendly, room very comfortable and the included breakfast buffet was fantastico! Short walk to the port was a plus.

We were delighted with our stay at the Palazzo Marziale. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is gorgeous in its old Italian style. We stayed in a very basic room and it was perfect for our needs. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right close to the centre of Sorrento and great access to the beach and marina grande. Especially convenient to be close to the elevator down to the water for our ferry to Positano. The breakfast was very nice and there was lots of room to relax if you wished. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

BEAUTIFUL property, palace-like decor, it didn't feel like staying at a hotel. Very spacious and beautifully decorated rooms. Amazing location, right in the heart of the city. Cons: lack of parking and the breakfast was a bit disappointing - most "hot" dishes were cold even early in the morning.

This hotel is located at the best possible location in Sorrento. It is walking distance to anything in Sorrento from beach, to the shopping district to all the happening restaurants. The hotel is beyond beautiful and clean. They provided cleaning service to our room multiple times a day and would leave little treats on our pillows every night. The A/C in the hotel works really well which is wonderful specially when you are traveling to Sorrento in the summer months. Breakfast was ok. I think they need to be more proactive in refilling items on the breakfast buffet table. Every morning I had to ask them multiple times for different things like eggs or bread or pancakes as it would not be enough and they wouldn’t fill it up constantly. Other than that everything else was EXCELLENT.
