Southend-on-Sea Adventure Sport Hotels

"What an awful stay - everything was OK until I woke up in the small hours of the morning with bites all over my arms. I ended up sleeping width ways at the foot of the bed as I am certain that bedbugs had bitten me whilst lying on the pillows by the headboard. I complained to Debbie in the morning and she steadfastly refused to acknowledge that it could be bedbugs even though I showed here all the bites, including 2 on my neck. I visited a pharmacist in Southend Tesco on Tuesday morning and he assured me that they did look like bedbug bites and prescribed me antihistamines. My arms swelled up on Tuesday - I had been bitten approximately 26 times and I was very uncomfortable. I have used Expedia to book hotels all over the continent over the last 15 years and have not had a single complaint but this was a very unpleasant experience which I do not believe was adequately dealt with. Shame on you Hamilton House - a more sympathetic response would have negated a response such as this. "
