Dear Serena, thank you for staying with us. We supose you are refering to toilet cover, it was intentionally made that way, the name for it is a soft close, it means that it closes automatically in a few seconds after you put it down so it cannot be broken. About the size of the room, if you found it to small maybe next time you should consider taking deluxe room, which we also have in our offer. 4 star category was provided by the professional commission and it was done this year, as we just opened. About the building, we are on the first floor of the old building in the old town of Split, which is the protected area of the town and we are proud to have it as a heritage of old town of Split. We are sorry if you didn't find it attractive. If you prefer modern buildings, our town has much to offer, but outside the heart of the city. Thank you!
