Very close to the motorway and large shopping area. The breakfast included was good. There was scaffolding on the outside during our visit but interiors seemed to have been recently updated. Rooms were quiet, amenities were good and beds comfortable. Shout out to James for his help during our stay!

I was travelling with a wheelchair user, there were no disabled parking spaces available due to renovations- he never complains! There was construction work going on and dirt had got in through the window and there was scaffolding and netting outside my window. You could have mentioned this before I booked! Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice. Bed was comfortable but the bathroom was in need of some repair, with the toilet flush peeling and rusty metalwork in the shower. I had an accessible room on the ground floor and did not require one.

Worst IHG room I’ve stayed in

Booked a room which was near to a lift due to old war wound issues with my legs and walking with a stick as walking and stairs isn’t my best forte The room which turned out to be a room with two single beds was the usual appearance for a holiday inn However one of the beds could not be used as the divan base was badly broken which you could see when you looked closely at the side of the frame which the wood was obviously broken under the fabric covering The other bed was also damaged to the base but managed to make a do as I was just so tired I couldn’t be bothered to make a fuss st the time

We checked in after a 13 hour journey. Got to the room, toilet didn’t flush, WiFi didn’t work, and no tissues. Only 1 hand towel and the room was not practical for storing with no shelving. I had to walk sideways to get out of the bed due to a lack of space. Luckily it was a one night stay. When I checked out, there was no compensation offered apart from points. One of the worst stays at any IHG hotel.

A very bog standard, average ‘service starion’ style of property. Had just what you needed but nothing more. Good value overall for what we got but would have only stay for convenience of location to what we required. Not for any other reason. Poor qualiyi breakfast.
