Very relaxing hotel

Pros: I loved the feeling of luxury and being looked after by all the lovely staff
Cons: The hotel is situated a little out of St Austell and a shuttle bus into town would have been nice
Location: Lovely location. Easy walks around.
We were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary and I am so pleased we chose to spend it at this hotel. All the staff, from the smart doorman to the room service staff, were smart, very pleasant, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Our room was a delight, with a wonderful view over the bay. The food in both restaurants was excellent.

Fantastic Hotel and Spa

Pros: The leisure facilities are great, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, spa, (golf if you like golf). The staff are great and friendly. Great walks.
Cons: I think rooms with adjoining doors need better sound insulation or occupants given ear plugs. More suitable for families or friends.
Location: The ground are beautiful, nearby private beach, the Eden project is not to far and can explore the rest of Cornwall and return to be pampered!
Went for a short break to celebrate my birthday. The facilities are great, the staff are fantastic and very helpful. I would have given the hotel top marks in everything. But our room was linked to another room through a door. The sound insulation was not great, so we could hear most of what was happening next door! (very loud TV on Sunday morning, followed by loud phone call in the morning), this room is good for families or people who know each other . A part form that a great place to stay.
