Stow-on-the-Wold Hotels with Parking

"I stayed here a few years ago, when it was a hotel full of character and history and original features. Now nearly all of those are gone, and the hotel is sterile, featureless and cheap looking. The bed was comfy and the shower was new, but there were no toiletries, and not even an armchair in the room, even though there was plenty of space for one. It just feels so sad that such a gorgeous exterior is betrayed by such tragic internal decoration."

"The welcoming staff were amazing and the place is incredible. The dining area was good but could be better. The menu is limited and the service is not very friendly including the greeting at the entry point. Breakfast was self service and the selection was reasonable, however the replenishment was slow and infrequent. There were quite a few guests walking around looking for cutlery and also waiting for fresh food to come out. Not the best experience for dining but the stay was relaxing and amazing, well worth the money. "
