Great Stay

An overnight stop on our way to Dorset. Perfect place - easy access from the motorway and excellent bus service into the city centre. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

All the staff were very friendly, bed comfy, shower (over bath) a bit low for me. Decent breakfast. Had a swim, nice pool but busy/small for a proper swim but still nice after a long drive. Parking for residents discounted but should be included.

Reception staff were friendly and professional. The room (230) was lovely and clean. Lunch in the bar was excellent and once again the staff were friendly. Breakfast was just as pleasant. My only moan is that I dont think residents should have to pay for parking. 9/10 thanks.

Overpriced parking charges

Even though it’s out of town there is an £8 a night parking charge … massive car park too , totally unnecessary. Place is dated and I’ve stayed in much better 2star b&bs ! Won’t be staying again !

Fantastic hotel and staff

This is our go-to hotel for Cheltenham/Gloucester. Easy to get to, friendly staff, a pool and gym. The food on site is delicious. There are lots of options available, bar, restaurant, room service. Nice seating areas outside and lots of places to sit inside if you want to read or play board games. We use it as a home from home when we are visiting family in the area. Highly recommended.

Tired hotel with a truly awful breakfast

A tired hotel, dreadfully understaffed, with a breakfast offering that could only be described as calamitous at best, woeful at worst. Giving an old hotel a fancy new red sign only goes to paper over the obvious cracks that are ruining a once lovely hotel. Genuinely never again.
