Romantic weekend away

Pros: It was "OK" but nothing special

Cons: Organisation in restaurant (evening service & breakfast), staff were trying hard but the whole place seemed to lack direction and leadership.

Location: Tenterden town centre is a good plce for a wander and a cheeky afternoon tea.

The hotel looked a lot nicer on the website, room was ok but not worth the price. We've stayed at other venues in Kent and felt a lot more "looked after" which is what you want when you go away for a romantic weekend. Food in the restaurant was of variable quality, we both had courses which were ok but others that were sub-par. Drinks orders took an age to arrive and needed to be chased up with waiting staff. Breakfast service was a bit patchy and food was fair to middling at best.
