One night stay

We experienced a couple of initial issues—a cold room upon arrival and a ripped duvet cover—but the staff responded promptly by replacing the duvet within five minutes. Overall, the stay was enjoyable with very good meals and courteous, accommodating service.

My stay at Oxford Belfry was super, spoilt only by a lack of communication between bar and kitchen. This was soon solved and I was eventually not charged, very generous but promoting an overall feeling of consideration for the guest. My room was very clean, comfy and a lovely shower en suite. Some green tea bags would have been a bonus, but mugs instead of tiny cups was much appreciated

We have stayed here before and it was much the same despite change of ownership. Our comment last year was the it was tricky to navigate. The hotel have added directional signs albeit on A4 paper. It could do with some maintenance

The hotel itself was nice. Room was spacious. However, the room did not have temperature control. The room was too cold when we got there so we reported it. Then it was too hot after it was adjusted by the hotel. The road leading up the hotel needs some serious repairs. On checkout we were charged for a breakfast and dinner we never had (we were not the only ones that this had happened to on checkout). Sorting out the issue with the bill seriously delayed us getting to our next destination. Overall it wasn't the best experience of a 4 star hotel I have experienced.

I am not a thief

Had to leave bank details, although I had no intention of putting any items on my room. Reception staff poor, just said it’s hotel policy. Some people leave without paying so we all have to give card details. They could deal with this without assuming we are all dishonest

Free parking, the room was spacious, comfortable bed and lovely breakfast. Include a fan in the rooms. Heating was on and felt hot in the room after my shower getting dressed for work.
