Great location for getting around. The rooms do not allow you to slide luggage under the bed. It's very central to get onto JR lines, so you can get around easy and spend the evenings around anime concentrated Akihabara. Dennys is on the 2nd floor so you can always get a semblance of western breakfast. Shower has some jolts of hot water and even in a non smoking room sometime you smell a little draft of smoke. These are all minor nitpicks. There are other comparable hotels in the area, but the biggest strength of the Washington is that it is extremely close to the train station.

My wife and I stayed here one night in February, 2025. The hotel is extremely convenient, surrounded by shopping and dining options, as well as a few hundred feet from Akihabara Station. There's a Denny's attached to the hotel, which we've frequented for years, and it super convenient as well. Our only major con was the room size. It definitely gives off a business hotel feel, in that it's good for a night, but not really comfortable for a long term stay. Still, we were both glad we gave it a try.

Room was clean and bigger than expected. Full sized double bed. Washing and dryer machine at reception area was handy. Great location in Akihabara. 1 minute walk to station.

So close to the station you can jump on the train on the Yamanote line and easily get to other parts of Tokyo, the room itself wasnt the biggest, but that doesnt matter too much when you are mostly out and about in Tokyo!

Great hotel. Location was perfect, in the action but still very quiet. Room wasn’t huge, but a good size for the area. The bathroom was a great size. My criticism is that the bed should allow luggage storage underneath

We’ve stayed here twice now. It’s quiet, close to Akihabara Station and there are plenty of shopping and dining options nearby. Rooms are tight if you’re used to American hotel rooms, but we were fine with two adults, two carry ons and a suitcase. We were really just there to sleep anyway, so it doesn’t have to be super luxurious.
