The property is conveniently located near 3 different train stations, including Tokyo Station. We reserved the Deluxe Double Room, Non Smoking and everything was clean. However, the facility was old and worn down. Our couch fabric was torn, the carpet was tattered, and the bathroom was dull and faded with a jiggly faucet. Despite the minor appearance flaws, we had a nice stay.

The location of the hotel was ideal to access to public transportation (subway and taxi) and Tokyo Station. The room was spacious enough for us (family of 3). Great breakfast selection. All staff and employees were very accommodating, informative and foreigner friendly. We recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very spacious hotel room for Japan. Room was clean, a little run down/not the most updated, but not in a concerning way. Location was very convenient; can walk to Tokyo station or easily connect to subway stations from metro right outside hotel. Breakfast was reasonably priced and solid! Overall, hotel is maybe a little overpriced, but a nice place to stay.

Hotel Sardonyx is convenient to the metro/train station, it is literally right across Hibiya line in which could take you to ANY transfer to other train station and you could literally go anywhere in Tokyo. The staff are very nice and friendly, clean rooms and decent size. It is in the middle of offices so it’s a quiet place, there’s also shopping malls and the Shinkansen station a mile away from the hotel. Overall I really like where it’s very convenient to the train station 10/10 recommended. If you would like to tour Tokyo via train this is by far the best hotel where you’d able to go anywhere and not walk far from the train station. Highly recommended.

The staff greeted us upon entering, check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and informative. They have English-speaking staff. The accommodation here is great! They provided pajamas for guests (kids included). They also provided us with bottled water per guest, per day. The room was clean and spacious. The AC works great, came with instructions and pictures to help you set it up since everything is in Japanese. The breakfast is at Royal Host, at the lobby, reasonable price with basic variety of cereal, fruits, traditional Japanese breakfast and traditional Western breakfast available. Overall, a great, quiet spot for travelers. The hotel is also close to train stations and convenient stores.

Clean room, free toiletries on the first floor and water station was a plus. The location was walkable to Tokyo station which was nice. Cons: I thought I had booked a smoke free hotel but they have a smoking floor (and unfortunately our room was right above it) so we couldn’t leave our window propped open for fresh air at all. Our shower also didn’t drain very fast which is primarily why I knocked off a star. Other than that very friendly staff and really glad I booked breakfast with our stay. Made it very convenient to eat before heading out to explore for the day. Food was buffet style and plenty of options. The location overall was worth the stay. Easy to get taxis and the metro anywhere.

Very spacious room by Tokyo standards. The location is excellent. Staff is polite, responsive and understand English. We didn’t have breakfast but visited the restaurants for dinner two times (good but not exceptional). The view from our corner room was just fabulous.

Sardonyx overall was a great hotel! The rooms were spacious and beds actually soft and comfy (compared to the hard hard beds we had throughout Japan). The hallways are dingy and a bit smelly of mildew but that does not transfer to the rooms. Staff were fab, the foyer lovely with nice amenities. The kids got a special welcome pack of kids bear slippers and cat toothbrushes. Despite the smelly hallways would defs recommend.
