I strongly recommend the hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. Sumina welcomed us and was able to give us the room early without any charge and gave us information about the surrounding area and how to get to the main places we wanted to visit. In general the staff was very kind. The hotel is very well situated, just steps away from the Gloucester Station

Clean room, friendly and helpful staff, close to shops/cafes/restaurants and tube station. Very close walk to tourist attractions like national history museum. Lift was handy for our pram. Only slight downside is the parking with a young family and carrying luggage to and from. But that's to be expected central London and not the hotels fault. Overall great comfortable stay. Thank you.

Reception unhelpful and not friendly. The 2 older gentleman that I have seen before are really helpful. The bar and its staff are first class, as is the food. Rooms are clean and of a high standard.

We spent three nights in this beautiful hotel, while visiting our daughter at Imperial College. Everything was exceptional. The staff were welcoming, the room was the perfect size for a short stay, and the location was perfect. Just steps away from the Gloucester Road tube station and a short walk to Hyde Park.

When we arrived at the hotel the Reception desk said the room size we had booked and paid extra for (Queen size) didn't exist and of we had to pay an extra £50 for a room of a similar size. no apology, they blamed Expedia for advertising a room size that didn’t exist. Then they gave us the wrong room which meant the door card wouldn’t work and we had to complain three times before they moved us to the correct room. Again there was no apology. We were not happy.

The room was upgraded for us at a very affordable rate...ALL the staff was very accommodating, seeing to our every need and we enjoyed ourselves at the bar, both cocktails and food, wonderful! All in all, a great experience.

The light on the air conditioning unit illuminated the room all night making it difficult to sleep. When it was turned off the room was stuffy! The people above us sounded like they were dancing a jig all night. Neither helped us to get a good night's sleep!
