Where do I even begin? Perhaps with the confusion over the “airport view” we had actually paid for, apparently that’s a luxury so rare here it comes with a side of waiting around in the lobby for nearly 2 hours and having to prove the booking for reception to justify to housekeeping to let us actually have the room we booked. Then came the surprise party that the hotel conveniently failed to mention on check in ....A convention that turned the hotel into a festival of drunk and stoned guests. Roaming the car park and pressing all the lift buttons, Silly us for thinking we booked a hotel, not a nightclub. The highlight and the worst yet... Being locked out of our room at 11pm. The front desk insisted it was my card, despite the lock flashing red like a Christmas tree. One staff member shrugged me off, another vanished mid-offer to help, and the manager… well, she left us stranded in the hallway, disappeared with our keys, and never came back. Nothing says “professional management” like literally abandoning your guests. The same manager who has an alleged degree from a university in Scotland, strange when I looked it up, not sure how the hotel missed that little gem. And the room itself? Rust-stained lamps, peeling walls, random hairs, and housekeeping so rare it felt like spotting a unicorn.

Disgusting bathroom, hair EVERYWHERE. Hair on our “clean” towels, bed and floors. Staff seemed bothered when having to help us out with anything. For the first full day we had no water in our room (which I understand is not the hotels fault just super inconvenient.) mysterious stains on most of the furniture, dirty spots all over the bed and headboard. I accidentally got hair dye on my pillow, a spot maybe the size of a 10 cent if not smaller, i immediately let front desk know where they informed me I’d be charged $15 for the pillow. I am more than willing to pay for the damage however when I got a price run down from my stay I noticed I was in fact charged $56 for the pillow. Not the $15 I was reassured it would be. When mentioning that they made it feel like it was miscommunication on my end. The pool was nice however everything around it was filthy. Hair clumps, stains, etc. another problem was that no matter when we tried calling help desk we would never get an answer. Also, some kind of convention was happening in the hotel which again, wouldn’t have been an issue however this massive group of people just lingered in the entrance for every single day of our 4 day stay. It was super inconvenient to have to duck and weave our way through the lobby to try and leave the hotel, with the doors constantly open the lobby smelled of cigarettes. For the price you are paying to stay here you might as well go for a more reputable company. VERY disappointed.

I liked the friendly staff, the shuttle service and wifi. I loved the water pressure in the shower. The restaurant was wonderful as was the food. On that note it would have been nice, for at time of check in, to be reminded of the free breakfast we had registered for. One other complaint was the rowdie and loud guests on our floor. I know i could have complained but didnt think it would result in anything. Other than that our stay was great
