Booked a last minute concert and came to Expedia to find a hotel close to Union Station as I was coming in from the Go.
Union Hotel popped up very reasonable priced and was exactly was I was looking for.
Pleasantly surprised by the rooms spaciousness considering (it is small, but when you’re not spending all day here it’s perfect for sleeping, changing and heading out) - it has a folding small desk in the corner, perfect for quick check-in with work.
Gorgeous work areas downstairs and a great bar/ coffee area in the morning.
Staff at the front are lovely, the check in was smooth.
The key didn’t let me in late at night though, the doors are locked. I had to call to get in. It was cold and they didn’t answer right away. That was not super great…
My only complaint is thin walls - I was in room Six-Zero-One and the room adjacent, the woman staying there was coughing quite literally every two minutes all morning (think 6:30 on - and I could hear her very loudly.
Now, to be fair, she sounded like a goose being stepped on, so that’s not the hotels fault, but just to think about, it like me, you are going for pleasure over work, you may be nursing a slight headache, you might want ear plugs. (Outside traffic was next to non-existent - and Front is bonkers!)
All in all, this a great little boutique hotel that deserves an amazing score & all the positive reviews!
