The Gomerino Hotel is located in the heart of Valletta. Ideal for wandering through the winding streets or visiting all the main sights from. The port is also a short walk away, yet the hotel is on a quiet street. The Gomerino is a very elegantly styled boutique residence. We enjoyed drinks from the rooftop bar with great views across to the 3 cities and harbour. Breakfast is buffet style with an added menu to order cooked breakfast from but we wouldn’t recommend ordering the full English. The hotel is opposite a large foodhall which has a wide variety of good quality world menus for a quick tasty meal. Our room, classic double, was a good size for two people for a few nights but I think a larger room would be more comfortable for a longer stay, particularly if you want to store suitcases and have wardrobe space. The room was very clean and the bathroom was a good size for two people - be careful with the very hot water. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and I enjoyed a lovely massage from Maria during my stay. Order taxis through the Bolt app rather than using the white taxis. We look forward to visiting Malta and staying at the Gomerino again.

Lovely Boutique Hotel in an elegant but well modernised building very close to the centre of Valletta yet away from masses of people. The public areas were extremely pleasant to use, especially the rooftop area with pool, loungers, tables and a fantastic view over the harbour. Hotel staff were exceptionally pleasant and efficient making everything seem effortless and relaxed. It all made for a wonderful holiday.

Breakfast was really nice! I particularly liked the fact that traditional Maltese Pastizzi was an option on the menu along with other usual dishes. Also, the location is a plus plus! And the hotel staff was really very helpful and cooperative! We wanted to change our initial room assignment and the hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our request and moved us into a bigger room within two days. Also, provided us with a fan when requested. Arranged for our early morning airport transfer on our day of return and generally provided assistance with our questions on local shopping, food etc. Highly recommend this hotel. Also, the location is excellent!

What a hidden gem this was! Once checked in we felt that we made an excellent choice for our 3 night stay in Valletta. Conveniently nestled among bars and cafés with walking distance to the famous St Johns Co-Cathedral, the Grand Masters Palace, the Barraka Gardens and more. The view from the rooftop pool is an Oasis and cannot go without saying for the spa on the lower level with its grotto vibes. The staff is amazing at accommodating during the stay with a nice breakfast in the AM and 24hr front desk service. They were able to help us with needs throughout the stay such as iron, ice and extra glasses. Not all areas are open at all hours and for us might be the only downside as we were multiple guests at the same hotel and there wasn’t much place to get together outside of the lobby in the evening. The room was relaxing and got to see both types of rooms (with and without balcony) which were both beautiful. We highly recommend and would consider staying here again on future trips to Malta.

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending a week at The Gomerino on our recent trip to Malta. We couldn’t fault the hotel at all. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we were so sad when we had to check out. The hotel is in a fantastic location and the facilities are brilliant. We hope we get an opportunity to stay here again!

A nice, small hotel. Lovely breakfast and lovely rooftop bar and pool area with views over the water. We had a hire car which proved to be a bit of a headache. Lots of road restrictions and parking wasn't easy. Clearer instructions from the hotel on how to navigate Valletta and where to park would be really helpful.
