Very nice stay

We had a very nice stay at Ca Mariele. We were greeted by Mateo, who was very helpful and friendly. The apartment had the space we needed, and while it didn't specifically have any features catering to our children, it worked for us. The location is excellent!

We had a great stay at Ca' Mariele with our toddler. The hotel is located just outside a large square with lots of dining options and about a 20min walk from St Marks Square. The room was very nice and clean, and the staff were super friendly and helpful!

Very spacious apartment

The apartment is very spacious. There are 2 separate bathrooms. The beds are big (bigger than king size?) and very comfortable. There is separate A/C in living room and bedroom. The location is convenient. We had very comfortable stay for 4 people for 2 nights there. The only down side is that we had to climb 3 floors of stairs which is a bit difficult with the luggage. Everything else is perfect.

Very good location, but we didn’t get 2 bedroom unit we booked, discount for 1 bedroom unit was minimum, and we lost the comfort of the bedroom. Host told us our unit had air conditioner problem. Unit was very small and outdated.

This was one of the best accommodations we have experienced in our European tour. First, the staff were amazing in terms of communication... Ahead of our trip, they reminded us how to get here, checkin rules, and how to apply for city tax exemption. When we got here, it was super easy to find the place - 4m from S Angelo ferry stop.. Matheo met us at the front door... Smooth checkin and even better, shared amazing restaurant recommendations. We were a family of 4 - they gave us apartment # 5! The size of the apartments blew our minds - I was expecting something of a rabbit hole at Venice - this was palatial by those standards. The rooms were clean, quiet and the amenities were all awesome - what we appreciated most was a well functioning AC. The location of Ca' Mariele is unbeatable - 13m max to San Marco or to Rialto..lots of cages and gelateria around. Honestly we couldn't have asked for more from our accommodations for this amazing trip to Venezia.

The most amazing apartment! The perfect location, quiet but just a 2 minute walk to coffee shops and a beautiful square. The building and interior are stunning and everything we were looking for in an authentic Italian stay. Staff were great and so friendly. Can’t recommend this apartment enough!!

Location was great, very close to everything. Minimal kitchen utensils and dinnerware. There was only 1 frying pan and it was in bad condition. The non stick coating was pretty much all gone and scratched. The remote control to the TV was missing the cover to the batteries, every time you pick up the remote control, the batteries would fall out.

This apartment was disappointing, only because with a tiny bit of care and effort it could be so much more. The apartment was huge! 2 floors, 2 huge bedrooms with large comfortable beds, and 2 full bathrooms. The real estate for the the cost was truly amazing, unfortunately it was difficult to be comfortable in the space. The couch in the “living room” was disgusting, as was all the other upholstered furniture. Visible staining with god only knows what, the mattress didn’t fold into the couch properly, and for some reason a cot was just sitting in the corner the living room. I wouldn’t have touched it with a 10-foot pole. This meant the only places we were comfortable sitting were the bed (which had upholstered headboards…) or at the table. The light in the living room only had 2 working lightbulbs and was thick with dust and grime, and the walls were in need of a fresh coat of paint. If they would invest a little money into a fresh coat of paint, some new furniture and maybe some art for the walls it would be an amazing place! The location is amazing, and the staff was kind and very helpful. It’s a real shame, as it seems the owners intend to let the space rot, while continuing to charge the excessive prices of Venice.
