We loved the location of this property. We took a water taxi from the hotel to the train station. It was very convenient. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Our room was very spacious and clean.

The hotel charged us 2x as much to book a water taxi to the airport as they did for the friends we traveled with. We booked a water taxi for the same number of guests and same amount of luggage. The hotel was lovely but I would avoid booking anything additional with them.

Hotel Ai Cavalieri is situated in a quiet area of the Castello sector which is very convenient to walk to the popular nearby areas of Rialto and St Mark's Square, and it's only a 10 min walk to and from the Alilaguna water taxi station at F.TE Nove "A" (Blue line) which connects to Marco Polo airport. The hotel has its own pontoon if you prefer a private water taxi from/to the airport. Absolutely beautiful hotel with a variety of rooms and suites to choose from. Our room was very comfortable and had a good size en-suite, and very clean throughout. Breakfast choices were good with a selection of fresh fruit, pastries, savoury bites and a hot choice of bacon and eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. There is no restaurant, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby and all in walking distance.

AMAZING !!!! First time in Venice. The Hotel is a 20-25 min walk from the Hospedale water taxi stop. The hotel is beautiful, clean,quiet, and centerally located. The side of the hotel faces the water so you can schedule a water taxi to pick you up (expensive - $150euro) I had to do it to get to the airport on time. Everything else is walking distance. Breakfast is great. Staff is so helpful. My room was cleaned twice a day. I will come back.
